And the Blog Winners Are...

This is Cookie A's design....and the overall winner of my blog contest, almost twice as many votes as the other socks in her collection. And, of course, Cookie's patterns are ALL beautiful!

I've never hosted a blog contest before, and ALL of the entries were appreciated greatly....each and every tidbit of college advice was read by my son, and I think he's impressed by the wisdom and humor in each entry.

I personally also thank each of you for your sock pattern suggestions. I WILL probably knit all of Cookie's patterns...sometime. :) Since Twisted Flower is the overall winner...I chose those entries, and then since ALL entries were so wonderful, I had to use the random number generator to choose a winner from the Twisted Flower entries.

A Week Already!!!

Oh my...so much to do and write, so little time...a whole week has passed...we have final rehearsals for the homeschool high school drama production of "I Remember Mama", which is scheduled to play this Friday and Saturday, and being "Prop Mom", I'm a WEE BIT overwhelmed with final prop rehearsals, settings, etc...so I won't be on here till Saturday, most likely! I have sock pics, new yarns, etc. to share...but they will have to wait.

1.What are your favorite colors? What colors make you cringe? I like jewel toned colors...blues, reds,pinks, coffee colored yarns, and most anything besides neon and pastels. :) I like varigated, solid and handpainted colorways.
2.Are you a new sock knitter? How long have you been knitting socks? Sock knitter for 6 months, on 6th pair...currently on 2nd pair of monkey socks for a swap. Cookie A's Twisted Flower socks are next!
3.Do you prefer solid or multicolored yarn? Either...they all have their uses!
